For Parents & Volunteers

PNA welcomes Auctioner April Brown to our Gala Benefit Event in February.

April has worked with some of the largest non-profit and benefit events in the country, and is one of the most successful benefit auctioneers in the world.

Please take a few minutes to listen to the valuable information in the audio clips below.

These clips detail steps we can take to make the most of our fundraising efforts for PNA.

Procurement
Made Easy:

We rely on the help of our many dedicated volunteers to make this event happen.

In addition to procuring and donating items, we need volunteers to help us with every aspect of preparation for the auction. Whether large or small, your contributions of time and energy are welcome and appreciated!

Procurement:  To have an auction, we need items to sell! Bring those items in, large or small.

- Ask your favorite salons, restaurants, stores, etc.   for a donation

- Bring in an item for “Basket of the Week”

- Bring in an item for your classroom basket

A Note to Parents:

As a Parent of a student at Pacific Northern

Academy, you are certainly aware that our goal for this year’s auction is $400,000. We would like to exceed that goal, and the school’s budget depends on our reaching that goal. To accomplish this, we need every member of the PNA community to commit to the event’s success.

Each family bears responsibility for assisting in raising these funds, as they make up the difference between what we pay in tuition, and what it takes to operate the school.

Here's how you can help:

Volunteering at our Auction is rewarding and fun.

You'll recieve help, support and friendship while you're part of an unforgettable experience.

- Commit now to procuring (not necessarily donating) your minimum of 3 silent auction items

- Come up with a great live auction unique experience, using the coming months to pull it all together.

- Approach businesses you frequent regarding sponsorship/underwriting opportunities and donations.

- Come to the monthly auction meetings to find out what you can do to help.

Here you’ll find all the resources you need to get to work.  Look them over, listen to some of the audio files, and shoot us an e-mail if you have any questions.
